For everyone all butthurt about them not having anything "harder":
Tim's voice isn't what it was 10 years ago. They're also changing with the times and that's what makes them such an amazing band. Not that you're not entitled to your opinion but come on. That's like demanding you to be exactly the way you were in high school. It's not gonna happen, so either adjust with them or move on. For real. The sound they're growing into is different, but just as great as the sound they started out with. Things change over time, people ought to realize that by now. People like what they like, fuckin deal with it and stop bitching about other people's opinions. Also check bands such as Slayer, death angel or kreator, all their singers are waaaay older than rise against 's, yet they still manage to scream like they did in the 80s. I don't think they ever release the more hardcore songs first. There's always a variety of songs, and the music, songwriting, and concerts are always the best. There is a lot of terrible music out there, and Rise Against is not one of those bands.
Also, the greatest complaint ever in music is over a band changing its sound. All bands evolve. That rough screaming is not what I enjoy about them the deep lyrics that hit home hard with smooth but fierce vocals to knock it home all the way is what they are amazing at keep getting boys. Don't stress it guys, Kevin is probably 12, based on his profile. But I'm really glad that so many people have good heads on their shoulders.

Review Paul Mccartney We Can End Gun Violence V-neck Shirt

I been listening to rise against songs for years since high school, if they scream i scream with em,if its mellow im mellow along with them, if its upbeat well you get it. Every song of thiers i take the lyrics and the beat(whichever it is heavy or whatever) i take along with the lyrics and into my heart... All the bash about how they lost it cause they dont scream every song is dam annoying. I understand that people would like Rise Against to make heavier stuff again, I would love it either, but I think we should accept that Rise Against is not making that kind of music anymore. They haven't since 2006 and I don't think they will ever go completely back into that direction. They got older and changed and so has their music. On top of that, I don't think Tim's voice can produce that kind of screaming anymore.

I like the new song. Like, I am full of criticism for how lawyers and judges interpret the law but I would rather them do it than police and politicians. My son put me through a laundry door when he was 12 (25 years ago). My other daughters and I were terrified of him. He was a bully. I was reaching out for help. The school didn't know what to do with him. Family and community services stepped in. What ensued was a disaster. He went to live with grandparents (who were so sure they could do a much better job of raising him than I ever could),they failed, and from there he went into a succession of foster homes, culminating in being institutionalised by age 16. Then community services had the gall to ring me up and ask me to take him back because he had gone as far through the system as he could. There was no one else who would take him. I did. Big mistake. He's in jail now. I wish I had reported him back then. It might have turned out better. We'll never know. Thank you for sharing your story.
