No, we're really not superhuman, we're completely human and just as exhausted as our male counterparts, but we can't stand to see no one pick up the slack so guess who that leaves. Stop pretending we're somehow better equipped, we're exhausted. Well said Katherine. We need help. We are not superhuman. I have been the single father. I give props to the parents that do it alone. It's rough sometimes. But the kisses and hugs make it worth the long night of comforting a sick child and the busy days with no time for ones self.  I was once one of those naysayers who sneered at mothers who claimed that what they did was an occupation. Don't get me wrong, I love my mother and am thankful for her putting up with me, but I viewed motherhood as something that one brought upon themselves and shouldn't be seen as laborious. I'm a teacher now, and having to take care of 200 plus students ranging from all ages for only a few hours a day, I have a newfound respect for mothers and fathers. I love my students, but after 8 hours a day I'm wiped. I can only imagine how tiring, but rewarding parenthood is. Just my two cents though. Yeah cause roofing in july as an irishman is a lot easier, or people who died of black lung breathing in coal dust for 40 years had a cakewalk lol.  Both my wife and myself shared everything and didn’t find it that difficult. I was home with kids all day and when she got home from work she took over and I went to work. We just did it. Never made a big deal about it. Why is it today parents act like it’s some insane job? 30-years-ago it was no big deal. Are you sure your share everything? Do you keep track of birthdays, gifts, holliday planing, school shedules, vaccinations and health checks, buying kids clothes etc etc. Steve Mitchell this article would apply to a father who did it all too, just change the wording. Sorry your mom left, but this article clearly isn’t about parents like her.

Obviously working, breadwinning fathers are heroes too! Absolutely.

Review Incredibles The Amazing Mom Hoodie

But this article isn’t about that! This article is about the fact being a stay at home mom (father, parent, orange) is typically shrugged off as “not work”. If you want an article about hard working, life risking fathers: get on it, or pitch it! But don’t belittle fulltime parenting compared to your work just because the article isn’t about you specifically. Like Katherine said, different sacrifices. There's always one who has to make something good into something ugly. A props for Moms and you, Emmet Skiver, have to compare it horrendous jobs. Can the Moms just get some love for raising the children, our future!!!!  I was originally gonna do that but i feared people wouldn’t get the reference. He does tell it better though. Are you sure your share everything? Do you keep track of birthdays, gifts, holliday planing, Brewers Pride Shirt shedules, vaccinations and health checks, buying kids clothes etc etc. Mia Wihlborg Just because someone is a male doesn't mean they don't do those things or deserve to be talked to condescendingly; and just because someone is a female doesn't mean they do those things at all. Honestly. Quite ignorant to act otherwise. So you both shared it as opposed to one person doing the Lions share and it was easy for you guys? Well obviously if you only did half the workload you would find it easier lol. How did you possibly find time to have with your spouse?? The relationship must suffer if you have no time together. Wow, what a bunch of whiny adults. No one said every Mom is perfect. Or that it is a harder job than roofing!! Grow up and deal with your issues. Why can’t they say something positive and you just let the people who it applies to enjoy it! Description: https://static.xx.fbcdn.net/images/emoji.php/v9/fdc/1.5/16/1f926_200d_2640.png🀦 I have an awesome mom, and I have tried to be a good mom to my children. My daughter is an amazing mom who works full time and takes care of her kids, her house and her man. She still finds time to help the rest of her family. She gets very little rest and is always ready to help if I need it. That’s pretty amazing to me!! Maybe you haters need to change your lives? Try to make something good out of whatever bad I Am A Marvelaholic Shirt you have had. And seriously stop with the poor me thing!!  I'm a nanny .. I average 50 hrs a week. .. and it has made me 100% commit to my decision to not have kids haha. Love my job but I could not do it 24hrs a day . Jeff Bortoff are you telling me I'll be miserable without kids???? Bs. These comments are what is wrong with adults these days. No one can stand something 'positive' said about someone else. Always gotta turn it negative. Lord.

Not saying I agree with this BUT Its always a fight about who's life is better, harder, ect. Can't ever just give props to each other. Omg yes it’s 2.5 jobs that’s like 6.00am -7.00pm 7 days a week, it’s called having a family and I think it would be more with the little blokes above.
Why does every one need a pat on the back all the time, if the partner isn’t working and helping you chose wrong.
It just seams normal you finish at 7-7.30pm with the kids spend and hour or two together then do it again.
That’s life with a family and if you a single parent stop being so picky and go find a partner a good kind hard working person with family community based values.  I will never complain I have it tough when I think about my grandmother who had 7 children, kept the Bill Clinton 4th Of July Shirt for my grandfathers business and worked nights to carry insurance for the family not to mention scout leader and church volunteer. Her house was immaculate and children always well behaved and well dressed with very little money in the bank. Motherhood is not easy but you can’t possibly measure the rewards. I will add it may seem like an impossible schedule now but one day you wake up and they are adults. The hard stuff and the good stuff all goes incredibly fast. Yes.. Our daughter 3 boys then an unexpected surprise twin boys - omg. She had to leave her DMV job - to much babysitting money Description: https://static.xx.fbcdn.net/images/emoji.php/v9/ff3/1.5/16/2764.png

Husband good hard working man... Just mothers? We're going to pretend it's any easier for the single fathers or stay-at-home dads out there? It's 2018, not 1958. Any parent, regardless of gender, who is doing their full job as a parent, is in for a hell of a hard time. But that is just not something people started moaning about until recent years, when, ironically, more parents than ever let Rally Goose T Shirt and video games accompany their child for more of the day than they do, and daycare as well. When I was born, my mother had no daycare and nobody to share the load caring for an infant boy and 1 year old girl. I don't recall her ever making a big deal of it. You just did what you had to do. Until the internet came along to give young parents a place to act like some sort of martyr. Oh my goodness you people are so judgmental. I have raised 3 amazing children. Yes it was hard, I had 3 kids by the time we were 24. We were amazing D&D Pride Shirt with great kids and yes it was still hard. The best time of my life, but raising children isn’teasy. Now that our kids are young adults... it’s even harder ! So don’t go judging people - everyone’s journey is different. You don’t know what the future has in store. Enjoy the journey, like I said, it was the best time of my life. when my younger son was a baby , my mother-in-law said to me: "You are on a maternity leave. You are doing nothing. You can sleep any time you want to".Thank you for this. There are those tough days but when your kids turn around and do something totally adorable it’s so worth all the struggles. Perhaps if so many people stopped thinking of parenting as a 'job' we'd have a lot fewer screwed up kids in this country. My problem is the same thing was reported in the 1980s so are these people getting paid for nothing and just digging up old reports and no new study really done at all.
