must be probed and work is a get away from this task..the problem is that they
never get ahead and always tired and ever in a rush...cannot hold a
conversation besides work related...soon its retirement as life passes you...be
productive not a busy body. Long are the days society worked
hard to fulfill survival needs. At this point we work hard to attain a status
quo created by marketing. We need to have a thousand dollar cell phone to feel
as we matter to the world. I'll define what
femininity means for me, thanks. In the meantime, I'm going to keep drinking
whiskey, lifting weights, not smiling when I'm told to, succeeding in my
male-dominated career field, and generally not being a doormat.
Nevertheless, I shall persist. There is such thing as "masculine strength" and "feminine strength..." everyone knows the difference. It is an instinct we all carry. What liberals are doing is somehow demeaning masculine strength as cruel/intolerant/etc, yet desperately trying to copy it and then rebrand it as feminine strength. All this while simultaneously demeaning "feminine strength" - those things like humility, kindness, love, compassion, etc. makes no sense. I managed to succeed in a male dominated field, without acting like a man. Be how you want, but don't pretend it is required to be masculine to succeed in male dominated fields. I've never been a doormat either. I can smile and be feminine, and still stand up for myself and be assertive. Rick Prenatt The only "bitter" ones I see whenever this type of argument comes up are the MEN stuck in the 19th century who are threatened by the fact that they may not get served hand over foot like "the good old days," and may *GASP* ACTUALLY being expected to pull their weight if both people in a relationship choose to have kids! As much as I hate to agree with liberals on something...being diagnosed with neurodiversity (not to mention realizing the marginalization that happens because of being different!) has definitely forced me to realize that privilege is NOT the liberal conspiracy I once thought it was, and people like you who write off anyone who doesn't fit your worldview of normal as "bitter and defensive" only keep proving my recent realization to be true. I can even see the hair coming out of under your arms, and boy, that's smells bad...... So much misconception between feminine and masculine. Do none of you understand how testosterone affects the body and how estrogen affects the body? There are inherent differences. Many of you are confusing the two and mislabeling one over the other. Why are so many women offended by femininity? Being feminine doesn't mean weak. Women's rights are about La Bron Shirt having equal civil rights as men, not women becoming men. Equal but different. Why can't some women accept and appreciate what makes them different from men? Men don't carry babies and nurture them for 9 months in utero, men will never experience giving birth. That doesn't make them less or us better, just different. Women are by nature gentler and kinder, we are nuturers, and that something wonderful about women. Ladies, embrace being equal and appreciate the differences! I exercise, can't stand whisky, don't consider any job a man's No One Is Illegal On Stolen Land Shirt or a woman's job. I think woman's lib is a joke and admire my mother more than any woman for raising 11 kids and doing all she could to give them confidence to do right. Thank you mom, you never taught me that I deserved a job because I was a woman. You taught me that when I find a career to work hard and I always have. Hey, I am a strong woman and I have fought for other women. I fought not to give them the right to kill the unborn but to give them the strength to walk away from an abusive relation. I fought for them when they were raped and they needed someone to remind them of their strength. I don't care about how you act after sex, that I could have gone a lifetime without hearing and really has no bearing on strength at all. And again, I don't consider any job to be a man's job or a woman's job. If you can do a job then do it. It becomes a problem only when you expect a job to be given to you because you are a woman even though a man had better more training and could do a better job.
