I'm not sick of it. I love Star Wars. The problem isn't the franchise, its the
fact that Disney bought the rights, and is pushing all the liberal bullshit
into the storylines. say what you will about
George Lucas, but i do believe he would have respected the fans and characters
we love. Having said that, i'm pissed he sold out to that company of which i
dont even want to mention their name. now
they have Fox. Well there goes another one of my favorite sci-fi franchises.
Planet of the Apes. When they reboot that who knows what globalist PC stuff
will be involved. Nope. I'm a huge Star Wars fan. I don't get political
about how the movie should be. I simply sit with my popcorn and enjoy it which
is what going to the movies should be about. They've ruined it, cheapened it
with their political agendas and really lousy dialogue. Sad. The latest movies
have been so lame. I was embarrassed for Harrison and Fisher's boringly lame
lines. They even looked a little lost during their parts. Awful. Don't intend
to bother with Solo. The problem is Star Wars
was hijacked by ideological leftists trying to weaponize the culture, and
arrogant deconstructionists bent on "subverting expectations" and
"transgressing norms." They decided instead of entertaining
audiences, they would make them eat their vegetables. They think the way
to bring in new fans is to attack and offend existing fans, and when the fans
complain they argue with and insult them. What the hell kind of business model
is that? It is truly a shame how
Hollywood milks a franchise for all it is worth. At some point it gets old and
you lose interest. My son grew up with Star Wars. He still has his original
toys. Let it end with Solo. I still
like Star Wars. However, it has lost the “edge” it had before Disney took over.
It’s never going to be as good as the original movies with the original cast. I
knew the franchise was in trouble when Jar Jar Binks was introduced!
I would love to see Star Wars...It's just
whatever this tripe is...It's not star wars. It's some strange B movie with the
Star Wars logo. The movies are bad! The Force Awakens was a poorly done movie,
the Last jedi...well...even worse.

Not even gonna bother with the next ones. I have not heard anyone sick of it. Maybe a little disappointed with the last one. SOLO. Sheesh it was like the director stole the show to show the scenery over and over again. I had to force myself not to fall asleep but over Star Wars Never. Sick of Hollywood trying to socially reform us when they have some serious issues in their own backyard. Also, they can’t put out anything that is original and good anymore. It’s either a sequel, a remake or a retread. I am tired of crappy Star Wars with SJW overly over tones. Just tell a good story and stick to the rules of the universe that was created. Not a hard concept for talented writers and directors. I go to Kevin Durant Tweet Shirt to escape for awhile, not to be drilled with the social concepts of the day. Really Hollywood? Really! I was 5 when I saw Star Wars in 77. I have been a fan of anything Star Wars ever since Darth Vader boarded the Tantive 4 to retrieve the stolen death star plans. If the current film makers are slipping in all kinds of political and social agendas, it is lost on me. I watch movies to be entertained and escape into a world I've loved for 40 years. Everyone talks about how the new movies don't stand up, the scripts are horrible and the acting Is terrible. Shhh.... Don't tell anyone......the originals weren't much better. But, I love the old and new for what they are. Exactly what Lucas intended them to be. Hollyweird seems unable to develop different stories, and seem to recycle old stuff, all the time.
They are really looking for the money reward, more than an artistic creation. Oh, that say it's about the art, but they only say that to the public. In the back rooms, the avaricious and perversion seem to be common place, as we learn of the goings on, of those in Golden State Warriors Guardians Of The Gold Shirt , and their deep secrets. I am sick of Star Wars, Star Trek, and Jurassic whatever. It is time that Hollywood got some writers in that are original in their thinking and writing. This Star Wars, et al is like the movie Ground Hog day -- same thing over and over. So predictable. First three movies we loved, 1977, 1980, 1983 ...the new crop of movies, meh, not so much!( we watch them when they play on TV ) But they just keep on squeezing out product for $$$ that falls flat and disappoints! Have never seen Star Wars movie, and never plan too! Let people decide what they want to watch and determine if a franchise survives. It's all about the $$$! Hollywood hasn't had a "new" idea in years. Same crap, different year! That horse should have been put away years ago. There is absolutely no imagination for REAL story telling in movies. Just appealing to millennials with no motivation to do anything but pay out money to satisfy their "habit".What is killing the Franchise is not Star Wars burn out but Liberals pushing their damn Liberalism down everybody throats, happened last year with Star Trek...
