The narrating voice was all wrong Don't get me wrong it was cute it was all right but it doesn't compare to the other movies. We continue that tradition today in the form of Santa. So yes, he was real...it isn't about truth or lie but about having fun. No one knows how to have fun anymore...its sad. I would say he IS real. St. Nicholas, being a saint, can intercede for those on earth. He really does hear the prayers of children and offers prayers for them, asking the Lord's blessing on all those who are in need. My feeling is that is something only parents should tell their kids, not grandparents, aunts or uncles, and definitely teachers.

Meaning of The Grinch I’m Not Arguing I’m Explaining Why I’m Right Shirt and Tank Top Shirt
My feeling is that is something only parents should tell their kids, not grandparents, aunts or uncles, and definitely teachers. Is not about lying, is about keeping the innocence in this kids. I'm pretty sure you were a kid too and you believed in all this stories. I'm pretty sure it made you smile and happy. The teacher has no right and is not their place to take that magic away from. Teach your kids what you want. But if a man dressed in a santa suit takes your kids don't be surprised as to why they were so trusting towards him.
