We make something similar with chicken breast and put it in a tortilla
she'll with rice and black beans, yummy! However The baggies of are genius!
Wendy. I got it easier- use a packet of taco seasoning for the chicken- use
thick salsa. I do with cutlets and bake in oven in pyrex. I omit adding
the cheese and sour cream at the end (except when eating this on cinco de mayo)
but i dont shred the chicken for this recipe. Everyone likes as is but this
post makes me want to shake things up one day!! Use fresh tomatoes instead of
canned. No lime. Boil the sauce for 3 minutes and let it cool. When it is at
room temperature add the cilantro. That's a real mexican sauce. Grill your
tomatoes, jalapeños and onion on the grill, blend with salt pepper garlic to
taste in blender, add chopped cilantro and mix. That's really fast and easy but
my sister doesn't the old-fashioned way she boils are tomatoes and peppers and
it throws everything in the blender. Hola Sonia. I don't cook mine, just make
it in a blender. I also add a pinch of ground coriander. I have everything I
need to try cooking it,(duh) so I'm going to try it. ust picked 90% of these
ingredients out of my garden and going to get to work. I am using half of a
ghost pepper and the rest jalapeño. Why do you microwave it? I obtained a very
similar recipe from my daughter's friend's mother and I just put the same
ingredients into the food processor and it looks the same as above.

That's just one of things that I don't like about going to Santa Fe! Chips and Salsa should always be free. That's the law isn't it? : } Some restaurants in California also charge for chips and salsa. I'm like really are you kidding me?? Then to top it off the salsa isn't even salsa! There are places in Santa Fe that do not charge for chips, lol. And there are places all over NM that DO charge for them! Terri Flickinger Rainier Spencer I'm from ABQ and I've never had to pay for chips and salsa in some 50 some years and many, many NM style restaurants, yet the two times that I've been to Santa, once to Tomasitas, and another place on the plaza, they won't bring chips and salsa to your table unless you request and pay for them! That just isn't right to my way of thinking! It goes against all NM tradition that I know. You just don't "mess" with a person's salsa or their sopapillas ,if you want my business. In all fairness,I really liked Tomasitas at the SF Railyard for my birthday last month, though. I'm from Oklahoma where almost all the Mexican restaurants around here offer complimentary chips, salsa, queso, that hot pickled veggie relish, and sopaipillas!
