around the area...badly injured (probably by a trap) and then learned to
survive without his paw by walking upright.
He was killed in a New Jersey state-sanctioned bow & arrow hunt in October 2016...disgusted and beyond sad for the poor love...such a survivor. I just ask hunters to be fair and not cold hearted. Also I wish people would use their brains every once in awhile. Not u specifically sir. Trish Rich I agree in part hunting has a role in keeping animal population healthy but for this one bear to fought end learned to survive to shoot this one bear that they must have seen was different be like shooting the only flying deer. I bind that up in Jesus name. I feel sorry for the bear also. But I don't go near wild animals. And God gave them there own space for a reason. Trish Rich I do not hunt and I believe if you kill, you should eat and use everything. But this was a special bear. You can see that right off the bat.
