I did that 37 years ago when I came to Utah. There really
isn't anything different anywhere else. Bottom line is, life is how you
handle it. So true. I left small town in PA for Florida. Change was nice
for awhile. But then it was just the same....life is what u make it...no matter
where you are. Debbie Frisbie I agree with the philosophical approach to your
statement, however, when the same size home in Crook County has real estate
taxes $10k to $12k above what you would pay in 45 other states, it makes a
difference in what's left over for living and giving. There are half a dozen
states that people are unable to retire in because taxes and politics are
punitive. Illinois is in the top 3. So I'm happy to take my attitude of joy
where my hard earned income can go a lot further than lining the pockets of
crooked politicians in Springfield. Yes I wish
I could, the only thing stopping me is my 5 yr old granddaughter she says I
can't leave she would miss me to much.
She's even asked if I had the number to heaven so I could call and tell them never to take me. That's my reason too. I decided to make a move and stay in between them. Grandchildren are another whole love. You only understand when you become a grandparent. Yes, I stayed put for years for the sake of others too. When my parents were living, I stayed near my hometown for them. Then my children were getting older and decided to wait until they were grown. After they grew up I moved away and they followed.

About two years ago I was thinking about moving to Florida and my 6 year granddaughter ask me not to go because she would miss me. I know my daughter would’ve followed because we discussed it and she has a great private business where we are so I didn’t want her to leave that since we weren’t sure about the same opportunities being in Florida. Shortly after deciding not to move, the big hurricane hit the Jacksonville and it had been decades sine a hurricane hit there. I moved to another country Australia even thou the country was a great place still didn't make me happy so moved back to uk and now I'm happy because I have 2 wonderful grandchildren I can see but I did if because I would if only be wondering what if. Hi Sharon, I moved from one state in Australia, from Melbourne to SA, after 4 back operations in a matter of 6 weeks I thought life’s to short, I want to what my one & only little grandchild grow, I don’t regret it, it’s only been just over a year, hope your enjoying your change as well Sharon

locations never works. You can move to the next town or another continent, but
when you arrive... there YOU are. If you REALLY, TRULY want to change
your life, let Jesus do it! Trust me, I
know from experience.. I did feel that way
about 8 to 10 years ago. I was frustrated with life and friends.
Just wanted a new start. Almost had one to, but my husbands associate backed
out of buying my husbands practice at the last minute. Bummer! I actually still
would love to live somewhere else. Preferably close to my grand baby! doesn't everyone want to do that at some time or another
in their life? I have wanted to do it several times. just never
have. life is going to have complications in any life. Old or new. nothing
is ever perfect. We have to leave our
Logic Rick And Morty Shirt. As Senior citizens, we live in a state that taxes us beyond what is
right.
😕 We can't sustain and poverty and bankrupcy
are looming high in the near future. Came
very close to moving from Ohio to SC last month but realized could never be
happy not living on the farm. Never have had to look out window and see someone
I did not know or like. And I did. I
moved from Savannah, Ga to Los Angeles, Ca. Lived in Long Beach, Ca and worked
at a hospital on ELA. Loved every moment. I was 55 when I made MY move!!! After
10 years and the love of my life with
me, we moved back south. Been there done it .a move fr om the Midlands to
Cornwall then Cornwall to Spain for 9 years then back to the most beautiful
place of all Newquay Cornwall. I did and it is no shame to admit that I feel it
was a major mistake.
