Love the city I lived there for 5 years it's beauitful it's the people I couldn't stand just too much fakeness. If you think Pittsburghers are fake, you ought to live in some of the places I’ve lived.
I grew up in Lexington and Louisville, Ky. When you walked down the street you looked people in the eye and you greeted them. Today everyone has their nose stuck in their phones. They don’t SEE anyone or anything. I find it a very sad.
PS The City of Brotherly Love was the unfriendliest city I’ve ever lived near. It’s also where I saw my first homeless person sleeping on the sidewalk. No one even seemed to notice. I was so shocked I haven’t lost the memory for 35 years. By the way you live in a city that is the # 1 worst city in the US. Look it up. And you look like you got a little attitude going on in your profile picture. So, is that real or fake? They are not fake but unfriendly, compared to some southern states I lived in. Well I'm from Detroit and that city is not the same as people I have tons of friends here but when I was there I couldn't make one friend because I call out anyone that isn't truthful or real.

People in Pittsburgh, will tell you what they think! Most Pittsburghers are outgoing, and if you're shy, you won't make many friends. If they realize you're fake, they won't bother with you. Pittsburghers are usually down to earth, hard working, friendly people. You're the first I ever heard complain about Pittsburghers being fake. Fake has never, nor will it ever cut it in da Burgh! If yinz come here ta live, be open and honest! If ya do yinz will be a hit!

Wow its beautiful I'm from Texas ..but I'm a steeler fan from day one..steeler national here in Lubbock, tx..hope to take trip up there to watch a real football game... Looking forward to football season. I live in Ohio and I always try to look for a reason to go to Pittsburgh!!!

That was the issue I'm very open and honest lol I would tell people I was from Detroit and they get all stuck up like if u ain't from there u ain't worth thier time i made a couple of friends I still talk to but for me to live I wasn't comfortable. You can take the girl out of Pittsburgh but you can't take Pittsburgh out of the girl. Will always love my Home Town. Love pittsburgh! My husband and I grew up there and always go to visit family. The people are so friendly and I love it when I hear people say that. I live across the border in Ohio so a dead person is friendlier than people here.
