They labor law also changed in that 32 hours per week is now considered ft and no longer 40 hrs. While insurance companies require you to work 35 hrs per week. If you can't afford to provide employees reasonable compensation, you can't afford to be in business. Companies like these rely on Medicaid to cover their employees, so while the Walton family gets increasingly wealthier, we the taxpayers subsidize their employee’s health insurance premiums.
