Eric
Jenkins..dont know if you're a drummed up dummy profile created as controlled
opposition to generate divided controversy. Or that one guy. You do realize
Forbes probably wouldnt make unclaimed statements if theres a chance of
character defamation or slandering lawsuit. I guess numerous unbiased
media outlets using fact checked stories for viewed click hits are wrong. Some
source probably leaked this information for money. No any different than
information farming like military or police confidential informants."If
everyone else is crazy, but you yourself is sane." Then maybe to your
perspective world, fake is real and real is fake based. If you think every
media outlet is fake news, every TV media outlet, newspaper, periodical and
journal, you are the problem. It is those who lack intelligence, who lack the
ability to read complex material who scream fake news. You like Trump because
he uses small words, speak to you on a 5th grade level and tells you what you
want to hear. Educated people understand there are alternate points of view and
listen to understand before they attack. For those screaming fake news, you
need to read the Federal Register it is State run “media”. The facts and only
the facts are written there. Chad Lamb *shrug* how would reading the article
debunk his comment. The article actually backs up a long standing issue with
Papa a lot of people already knew about. I've not had his pizza since 2004.
Nasty, greedy individual! He's attempting to downplay his own shitty behavior
via whataboutism. He's still a total shitbag. The article doesn't change that.
Casey there are plenty of loopholes - like if your employees are part-time,
they don't get insurance. Many corporations keep their employees under
full-time intentionally so they don't have to cover healthcare

As for Papa John's specifically, here is an overview of their benefit package, only available to full-time employees:
"Papa John's offers a Fixed Benefit Health Plan (instead of Medical and EAP Insurance), short-term disability, a Hospital Plan (instead of Hospital Indemnity Insurance), Term Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance."

🤦♂️ It’s
also a publicly traded company which means they have shareholders to answer to.
Casey Bennett You are not the brightest bulb. REDUCE HOURS -- you only have to
supply health insurance if people work FULL TIME, so Papa Racist here made his
workforce part time. They labor law also changed in that 32 hours per week is
now considered ft and no longer 40 hrs. While insurance companies require you
to work 35 hrs per week. John Baio, no, but you would think he would care about
his business teams - franchise owners, managers. His core employee team,
teenagers - most are still on mom and dad's benefits. "It's called running a business!"
I'm pretty sure doing everything you can to short-change your employees isn't "running a business."
If you can't afford to provide employees reasonable compensation, you can't afford to be in business. Mark Carlisi he preferred not to provide insurance to his workers than to increase the price of his pizzas by 10 cents , but he doesn’t have a problem giving millions of dollars in campaign funding to the republican party. Mercuri Marce, not true. Ethical companies did not use their employees as pawns.
Companies like Walmart & Papa John’s did this, but the public is subsidizing their pt employees health care instead of the employer.
Companies like these rely on Medicaid to cover their employees, so while the Walton family gets increasingly wealthier, we the taxpayers subsidize their employee’s health insurance premiums.
