No
one notices the boy is missing for 3.5 hours! Do a head count every time you
get on and off a vehicle. Also check every seat before you park the vehicle!
How irresponsible. RIP sweet child. How does no one double and triple
count kids getting off the bus and then go up and down the aisles of the bus to
check for children or things left behind.
And ya this would be why I pinch pennies to be able to stay home with my kids and know they’re well cared for. No one is perfect but these stories are just horrifying at how plain negligent and wrong people are. 28 kids and 2 workers, NEVER let your kids go anywhere with that kind of ratio. There are stories all the time about moms struggling with just two or three small kids at home and this daycare had FOURTEEN kids per adult. This is what happens when these daycare places, hire unqualified people to work they just don't give a,DAMN. All they want is the money I feel for the parents of this precious, baby. As a former and returning preschool teacher...... you can NOT hire unqualified people to work in childcare. The state frequently visits the center and check employees qualifications as well as background checks with not just the state but also the federal government. Not to mention, teachers have to continue getting clock hours in each year. I’m not in anyway saying that this is right, and clearly there was negligence involved but you shouldn’t say things about them being unqualified or only wanting money......

(Teacher, especially in preschool DO NOT make a ton of money. Managers at Taco Bell make more than a teacher does.). Oh yes you can I know at least four people that have worked in daycare centers in my area these girls were not qualified in any way one place put one of these girls in charge of 6 babies by herself then was fired because 3 of the babies got bad diaper rash from wearing dirty diapers too long so don't tell me these girls are qualified. These centers here are set up to get as much money as they can they hire the cheapest labor they can so more money goes in their pockets. Yes! I agree, just because they're hired at a daycare facility doesn't mean they're qualified. Even if they have the experience, doesn't mean they're putting it to use. I'm pulling my son out of his daycare because the "qualified" teachers they have are nowhere near what they should be.

I hear so many times these, girls say they are preschool teachers in daycare centers ask them about their education level they will say high school graduate if that much just because you take care of preschoolers does not in any way make you a qualified teacher So many of these places are calling themselves "Learning Centers" that my friend is a joke. Rachel Davis she’s not saying the teachers are making the money, but the people who run the center. And not all daycares qualify as preschools or learning centers for kids, so no, not all of them require much of any skill or childcare/education experience. A high school diploma/GED and a background check are all some do. How do you not double check the bus , triple check ?!? These are children , not things that can be replaced such as cell phones that are left behind . Seeing articles like this make me lose faith in humanity . Okay, I have never driven a school bus, but I don't understand why bus drivers don't do a quick walk through of their bus to check for personal belongings or kids that didn't get off before leaving. They “have policies but can’t force people to follow the policies?”
