an awesome girl!
I was born 50 years ago with a mild form of cerebral palsy. Doctors told my mother I wouldn't amount to anything. Well I proved them wrong I went to college eventually graduated. Had two great kids. I'm still beating the odds. So little Miss Mighty Maya the sky is the limit on what you can achieve. Video of the year as far as I'm concerned. I too regained my ability to walk after a stroke and brain bleed. In march .. Priceless feeling. Roger Mcdonald Bless you..I agree about vid of the year..wish everything on social media was as precious as this...I pray you get it all back Roger. Roger Mcdonald Wow..talk about overcoming the odds...So happy to hear it..that is a scary prospect..life is so precious. Ya. When I was showed the MRI the swelling was so bad it pushed the right lobe over.. The doctor told me like 30 times .. You don't know how lucky you are .. I believe him. Awesome video. So amazing to see the fight in this little one. She will do great things. I was born with cerebral palsy. Spent much time in wheelchairs, with walkers, braces, in physiotherapy, and went through many surgeries. It’s a battle. I went from being told I would never walk and be non-verbal to a high school history and agriculture teacher and father of three girls who walks (although not pretty). If she has this willpower now, nothing will stop her. Thank you for sharing this amazing video!! Way to go Maya!!!!
I am taking this as a positive sign from God that my very own #MiracleMaya WILL walk one day!!! Born with a horrible infection and unable to breath, she suffered a hypoxic brain injury and wasn't even expected to live. Now we are about to celebrate her first birthday and she continues to beat the odds every day!

Let these have been black parents, they’d have threw a bbq right there and invited everyone. Those parents sounded almost disinterested. This video was amazing to watch, and I just think they should’ve hyped her up so much more than they did. She just freaking walked on her own!! That’s huge. Lord I pray that you would have mercy on this child and bless her with the Omahogs T Shirt of your healing hand on her poor broken body, In Jesus name, Amen! Cried tears of joy for that little beauty. Her sweet little voice saying "I'm walking" filled my heart up with happiness for her:). I love her brother too, he is happy for her happy I know this to be true. Little gal, you will soon run, you will run with our Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ. I am so happy for you I promise. I know Mom and Dad are too. Had polio in 1955 when I was 10mo. hard life but did well. have 2 beautiful girls and 5 grandkids. She has the mindset to make it too. I'll NEVER get tired of watching this video! I have it saved on here because it brings me so much joy watching it! Way to go sweetheart!! This girl is tough as nails... Nothing will ever stop her from doing what she puts her mind to. She's got drive and determination, that excitement that she shows just proves that she'll stop at nothing to get what she needs. Good for her! Keep it up little one! I have an uncle with CP. When he was born, there was no support for disabilities like this. They were put in rooms or shipped off to care homes and forgotten. My grandmother wouldn't do that to him. He was given as normal of a childhood as possible. He's 60 this year, and bound to a wheelchair. Doesn't slow him down, though. He is full of life. Beautiful Maya, your excitement is infectious. I love you and that you can walk and that you never never never gave up. There you go!! Never give up little one. One step at a time!! I am proud of you. Keep it up stay strong and NEVER let anyone I mean anyone tell you you can't accomplish your goals. DO IT TO IT!!! You can do this.I know its not easy.I did it and when I grew up I wnt in the army.I walk every day.Sometimes it hurts but it's better then those braces on my legs.They were heavy and rubbed me raw sometimes.Gont everquit or give up you can do this. Anyone who has a gun violence arrest SHOULD NOT be voted into any kind of office! And to attack the dad who had lost someone in a mass shooting is unforgivable!! This man should never hold any kind of office! So, why are people with criminal records allowed to run for office? Too many become crooks afterwards so why give them a heads start? Just when you think Republicans cannot be any more disgusting, this jackass from Florida crawls out from under his rock! Do these people hide during the day?

Despicable beyond words. Sounds exactly like Dirty Don the Con & most Republicans. They are nothing short of heartless, soulless sociopaths with no ability to feel empathy or compassion for others. This punk does not belong in public office & my prediction is that he will probably end up in prison one day. If you have a felony on your record you're not supposed to be able to vote. If you have a felony on your record and you're a congressman I guess you can run. Sure makes a lot of sense not. Why is a felon even allowed to run for office? I am getting very tired of reading about these criminals who are intent on governing our existences. His stupidity, criminal record and lack of a moral compass means he is eminently qualified to be a Republican candidate. This man has stooped to an all time low. Things are bad enough without a man with a criminal running for office. We have enough criminals in office already. Very Blue. My question exactly - how does someone with an arrest record for gun violence get on a ballot? This should not be happening. He will lose, convincingly. But the Pirate Angel Shirt fact slime balls like him have a platform, no matter how small, indicates the level to which our country has fallen. Okay Florida. Now is your chance to show you are made of better stuff. For God's sake don't vote for this guy. Just shows the republican don't Care about gun violence in America and doing anything about gun control in America mothers of children it your family lives at. Steak how will you vote Save America vote republican out impeach Trump vote. Stop the stupidity. Of course guns shoot people.
