Decent,
affordable housing, new businesses that are actually hiring instead of bringing
600 jobs with them, good paying Union jobs, grocery stores in every
neighborhood... Any business that brings in jobs, creates a tax base,
raises property values so that Flint does not ever need people in
Lansing making decisions for them again. Exactly! I can't say much about her
because I avoid the Kartrashian clan, but her makeup brand is a joke. The
quality is subpar, even for consumer brands. The price point is high for
"private label" products churned out en masse in China. She knows
nothing about the cosmetics industry, has does nothing but prey on consumer
ignorance to make profit. Those ethics speak for themselves. I wouldn't even send
her thoughts & prayers! i dont have beef with her, but when i saw,
she is 'only' worth 900 million, and there was a gofundme page to allow her to
just get another hundred million. That level of wealth is disgusting of its own
accord--especially when hoarded for some ridiculous purpose. I have a very hard
time with cosmetic companies that: a.) exploit consumers of money, b.)
deliberately use low quality ingredients, c.) play on "brand" or
"fame" loyalty without anything else to go on, and d.) cheat customers
in order to make a fortune. Rhianna, I'm coming for you next, sweetie . . .
LOL. From the perspective of someone who has worked his ass off to keep a Pride
Center open and available, I am utterly destroyed that people would rather give
to a Kardashian who already is worth more than any one person could ever need.
In the end, I don’t mind that she is wealthy, but let’s not kid ourselves.

She’s not self-made. She’s a product of extensive privilege. I’m just sorry that charity is not as sexy and cool as a Kardashian. Can you imagine how we could change the world if people gave to those who have little privilege and can’t break through the layers and layers of socioeconomic depression instead of giving to someone who won’t notice or be grateful because they could buy and sell you without noticing a transaction had happened? I’m thinking that probably depends on horse power, brakes and lighting issues. It may or may not be legal depending on how the go kart is set up. I would also think for them to be street legal there would be some kind of registration numbers displayed. Driving a go-kart on a city street is illegal in the state of Michigan unless it is made "street legal".

Thatt means it has to have headlights, turn signals, windshield, tail lights, seat belts, parking break, rearview mirrors, license plates, speedometer, odometer, a horn and auto insurance. Oh-and go 25 mph max. My family has lived on the east side of Syracuse for decades. If my brother builds a go kart and wants to test it out by going around the block, he should be able to do that! What shouldn't be happening is a drunk driver doing 90mph thru a residential area. Let alone someone with multiple arrest warrants already. Todd Michaels are you kidding me??
