last season, completely agreed. Trout is the best player in the game and it's
not even close. And he will probably win the award again this season regardless
of where the Angels finish in the standings. It's a divisive argument. No one
team is good or bad because of one player, but players have influence. I have
to believe that any of the team leading their division or making the playoffs
have a player leading the way. I mean even
last season he had 6.9 WAR in just 114 games which is nuts, but I do think you
need to be out there more than 114 games to get it. It's like how deGrom is the epitome of why pitching wins
don't really matter. He should still get the Cy despite his W-L record and
where his team ends up. So how isn't Trout the most valuable? It's not
his fault what the pitchers do that directly affect his teams record. He also
has to rely on guys hitting in front of him to get on base then rely on guys
behind him to drive him in. He goes above and beyond when it comes to what he
needs to do, that's why he is the most valuable. Sometimes the face of the mlb
will win (which is a mockery of the award). Like how jeter has any gold gloves
but is statistically one of the worst fielding shortstops in a long time. Where
would they be? Might have a slightly better draft pick, but that's about it.
They are pretty terrible, can't get much worse.
Even if they did it wouldn't matter.

Anyway, the chicks weren't very well known yet so they played a free show for less than 500 people in the park. Which is on the complete opposite side of town because no one scheduled them any stage time. It was amazing and I've been a loyal fan ever since.. just reminiscing from seeing this old picture. Loved you then, when I saw y'all at The Lakewood Theater in Dallas, and I love y'all now. Raised in Dallas, I followed you from the start. Just saw you in West Palm Beach, and Natalie, I understand!
