As I have commented, and this has raised this ruckus, the help wanted signs that I am seeing are for full time positions. Many of them are also for higher paying professions such as truck driver ( $20/hr union scale) and mechanic ( around $20/hr non union scale). As these jobs begin to fill, the lower paying and lower hour jobs will be losing the older and more experienced people. The teenagers will again be more prominent in positions such as fast food, store stockers etc. They don't need the insurance in many cases as they are still on Mom and Dad's insurance. Lee Hanlon, perhaps I cannot look very deep into local business (these are the ones you mention), because I am not living in America. I am german and I feel very happy, we have a good cancelor, who acts in humanity. Of course, there is always room for improvement... but from my perspective - there are not many positive things about Trumps presidency.

They are too expensive... if you wonder about "help signs", why don't you mention, that you need to fulfill 3 jobs (for example in the san francisco area) just to pay your rent for a 20 square meter condo. How is it, that the richest country in the earth has to face so many homeless people? (Been several times in America... been always schocking to me - we don't have these problems over here... but what is your president doing about it? Aaahhhh... yeah! He just cut or revised the health care program - great job... ). The only thing, he is doing good and a lot... is playing golf. San Francisco is NOT a good representation of of America. It is and has been run by socialist leaning leadership for many years. It's a good part of the reason why there appears to be a mass migration from California to other parts of the country. Not only is it unbelievably expensive to live there, but they tax the people to death to boot. The second anyone tells him "this is your end of the deal" he'll rip it
up. He believes only one party can have a good result at the end of the deal, and it has to be him.
So folks, I hate to tell you this, but he's only getting started.
