Being
a rangers fan seeing the caps win is heart breaking , but then seeing this and
the tj oshie story about his pops , been a fan since the blues day about his
daughters and how he single handed killed Russia in the shootout , it’s just
good to know hockey will always be about tradition , and sporthip and the code.
As a life long pens fan and caps hater I must tip my hat to this. Very classy
move and it’s great for the sport of hockey. Ovie deserved a cup and he was
surrounded by a very good team this year. Congrats to
the Caps and to Vegas, both teams had phenomenal seasons! I have always said, hockey was a class act!! Always see
when the player get off the bus or plane the players are always in a dress
shirt 
👔 and tie. Not hoodies and sweet pants like
other sports you see. Always #1 class act to me in my eyes!! Class organizations cuz. It was great seeing
the Caps exorcise past demons to raise the Cup. Seeing the Great 8 party it up
this past week has been awesome! You gotta come to Vegas for a game
tho...unreal atmosphere! Except Vancover when
they rioted and ruined there city when they lost. I was ashamed to be a
Canadian that day.

Vancouver did you get praise like this... No because you acted like children. They forgot to put a big thank you to the Mafia for paying players off to give Vegas the edge throughout the season into the playoffs ... I did see it. Quite classy, although they don’t mention how the DC experience for Las Vegas fans was quite the opposite. Ticket sales were restricted to DC area residents only, and a few VGK fans who made it in reported feeling threatened and uncomfortable.
I plan to head downtown after work tomorrow for a Golden Knights Stick Salute to the city and fans. I expect a throng of humanity, despite excessive heat warnings and temps around 106°! Class act professional sport, line em up after each series and shake hands! No other sport does that!! Not like NBA where James Harden went directly to the locker room/ no hand shakes, when the Warriors took the series. Poor sport!! Congrats to the Capitals, for Winning the Stanley Cup. & to the Vegas Golden Knights, Congrats to You 1st. Year & go to the Finals Awesome that's a Win Also.!!

tie honestly. Both cities are extremely dedicated to hockey and produce
incredible talent. Let's stop the arguing and moaning guys, there's a reason

I would include the Gophers into the dynamic of the Minnesota hockey culture. I don't think they included that or the huge high school tourney. I have lived in St. Paul near Denver. Hockey is not better in Denver. I only use these two as an example to prove the results wrong. I love Minnesota and Colorado both are great places to live. That is an extremely skewed metric...counting div 1 teams at 1.67 and nhl as 12? Obvious attempt to remove the fact that Minnesota has 3 of the top 5 performing div 1 teams. Not to mention not including NHLers produced.

Tavares could very well surprise me too, but aside from loyalty, what have the Islanders done to make him want to be there? I just don't understand him staying. He's in the prime of his career and that team is not on the verge of competing for a Cup. I'm a Pens fan and NO, he's not coming to Pittsburgh.
