Dads kill it because they are praised for anything they do to be involved. Whereas moms do everything and we get criticized. Don't get me wrong, my husband is the best and he does a lot of the parenting since I got sick. I fed bathed and changed both of my.sons with cloth diapers then washed ybem out then to the laundry tub for washing. My partner doesn't call it 'baby sitting' per say, he calls it 'passing off my responsibilities'... Makes me wonder what he thinks makes them not his responsibility. Blokes..

In saying that he does help put our toddler to bed if she isn't already by the time he gets home and takes her to work with him when he can. He also helps around the house a bit .  omfg...i just sent my husband a LONG DETAILED text at work totally falling apart over our terrible parenting skills.....and he sent one back saying....

Hey. I laid two eggs, grew two babies (two penises and four testicles too), and got filleted open to have these kids. But sure, his two sperm did all the work. It's so easy being a dad. Having said all that I'm very lucky in that I have an equal partner....once I tell/remind him what to do.  I have a rare breed of a Husband who works incredibly hard at work and gives that same amount of energy and focus to our home life and to our daughter. We take turns with each child. He always says thanks for cooking and I’m doing a great job. He is the one killing it. Yeah well it doesn’t get any better! One time Rick left at 7:00 in the morning I’ll be right back- 10:30 that night here he is! Umm we need to define right back, I lost track of time! It’s ******* dark outside you didn’t have a clue? o my husband isn’t the only one who asks the silly (stupid) questions... like the eggos are in the freezer! Duh! Good thing I love him... otherwise there would be big problems!  Well this is the FARTHEST from the truth in regards to my husband! lol.

And believe me, having a second person in the house who’s overthinking or constantly thinking is NOT a relief! Especially when he thinks out loud! lol 
Ps. I could only slightly agree to number four And five. He occasionally does this- especially if he’s had a long week of late nights and hasn’t seen them that often. And will initially ask what kids eat, if I leave him alone with the kids. I only need to respond “food” and then understands to leave me alone and responds with a “Fine, I’ll figure it out”.  This sounds like being negative toward Dads. I was raised by a single dad and let me tell you he was amazing!! My husband also is an equal partner and hands on dad. Sometimes dad's don't get the recognition they deserve! My opinion.. no need for negative comments! Best Dad Ever Cubs Shirt every single one. But especially the one about he just pretends he knows where nothing is at  🙄 and yet i still tell him every single time like I think he really doesn't know or something  😑 lol. These ladies are always spot on! Every word of this is true. Especially the part about going to the bathroom. I havn't done that in peace for almost 7 years.

Right now my 2 y.o. is in the bathroom with me asking a bag of questions about a broken faucet that he just watched the plumber fix.  🙍 🙍When will it end? Sorry to see and hear all this dad bashing. There are LOTS of wonderful dads out there that raise kids, work full time, partner in household chores and provide love and support to their children and wives. Please stop whining. As an older father I'm more involved now than with my older kids who were born when I was younger and dumber.
