They’re not out there to please you bud.Jack Ransdell actually the NFL is an entertainment business the players get paid millions of dollars to entertain and that business lost 600 million dollars in advertising last year due to this issue.Then they should not have picked the wrong time and place to disrespect our national symbol in front of the very fans that pay their salary!It’s YOU who don’t get it....they used the wrong symbol of our freedom to protest the way they perceived a group of people are treated unfairly....and most of us don’t like that they used that symbol....they thought by doing so they’d get all our attention, but by using the wrong symbol they alienated millions who don’t appreciate that they used the symbol of our freedom that reminds us of the sacrifice many do to protect that freedom...it was stupid and it has surely backfired!Kathleen Wilson key word "symbol". There is a little piece of paper that is more powerful than that symbol. What every military member swore to protect. Despite what you think, it didn't backfire. That boycott people were crying for? The NFL was up $900 million from 2016. Also, hes a Colonel, I'm sure he was well taken care of over there. It's funny how people in here are using the First Amendment right to complain about the protests and can still say it's okay to protest just do it where no one can see or hear you. Someone needs to watch something other than Fox, the protests were never about the flag, the anthem, or the military. It was always and continues to be about police brutality. Clayton Mazurek because its the only way to bring attention to it. Media doesnt care if it's off the field. Only during an interview during OTAs, post game, or when the anthem plays. Players know that which is why they continue to do it. You shouldn't have a problem with it since you know why they do it along with their reasoning. Remember the only reason they play the anthem is to drive recruitment numbers along with that fat check uncle Sam gives the NFL for being patriotic. Lol all you so called patriots better not be using American Flag napkins and paper plates this coming 4th of July, because according to the American Flag code: The flag should never be used for any advertising purpose, nor embroidered on cushions or handkerchiefs, printed on paper napkins or boxes, nor used as any portion of a costume. So remember that for when you want to be oh so patriotic.Amazing though, in the flag code it says it should never be used for advertising purposes. Yet so many companies use it as a source during Memorial Day, Labor Day, 4th of July, Veterans Day to promote sales.Just dropping some knowledge for all of you people who claim to be so patriotic and worry about how someone kneeling disrespects that flag yet probably have used a paper plate with a flag on it, shopped at stores that use the flag as a promotional piece during the holidays. But I'm sure there is justification for that.

Not diminishing this moment at all, no dry eyes here, but where in the hell could the announcer have been going except for this awesome surprise? “Colonel Morrison has missed his son’s last three birthdays... and will miss this one too. As a military family we were separated twice for a year at a time and the children suffer more than you will ever know. It is hard on moms but to see the children first hand, it is heart breaking. God bless all military families!How can you not be happy for this man in his family and I am a black man sitting here crying How could a person be racist towards another person I just can't understand it. I sit here and cry every time I see one of these surprises !!!!! The wives and children must must be given special grace to be able to be separated from their father/ husband/mother / wife for such long periods of time. Thank you to each one for your sacrifice!!!Every time I watch these videos of military men & women reuniting with their families, brings tears to my eyes, & I try to hold on, but I can’t. When I’m at work I miss my daughter so much & when I get home & see her so happy running towards me. It’s just an indescribable amazing feeling. I cannot even imagine what our military personnel goes through every time they are deployed. I thank them all.
