up the most. Ever look at what comes out of your paycheck? There are distinct
line items for Medicare (may appear as Fed MED/EE) and Social Security (may
appear as Fed OASDI/EE). These are suppose to come into the system and alloted
to be spent only for those reasons (aka Dedicated Revenue).

You don’t understand. This pie chart I’ve posted below is the entire US Budget. The US discretionary budget is included as a part of the US Budget as a whole.
Look closely at the labels of each part of the chart. Total federal tax revenues for last year was $3.42 Trillion.
This means that just social security and Medicaid consume roughly two thirds of all federal taxes received. The other one third is used on the rest and the remaining is paid with borrowed money. This country is a very wealthy one. Actually THE wealthiest one, which so happens to be filled with 330 million people.
You don’t protect the biggest and largest bank in town with B.B. guns, you have armed guards and armored vehicles.

Not as much lately it seems. Cliff Danner since our per capita income and per capita accumulated wealth are nowhere near the top, we’re hands down NOT the wealthiest one. You’re thinking Luxembourg. Don't be naive. As space interests continue to commercialize, such as the mining of asteroids, violence and territorial disputes will begin to occur. If there are no defences in place, there will only be victims and offenders. The wild west all over again. Instead of a space force... why not a non-military service to provide infrastructure construction / repair, dedicated assets for FEMA and disaster response, post disaster security? You could combine FEMA, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, elements of the Department of Transportation and give people an option of serving their country in a non-military capacity. Repairing roads and bridges, heavy equipment to do the initial clean up after a natural Always Speak Your Truth T Shirt; all the things we either force the Army Guard / Reserves to do or get ripped off by private contractors. Who writes this stuff?

Besides the fact that “Department of the”s don’t conduct Joint operations (per Goldwater Nichols act - Combatant Commands do), weaponizing Space isn’t even illegal. Only putting WMD is prohibited. It will be modeled after the Coast Guard ! This has been kicked around since Bush '41, when he was part of the MJ-12 commission ..! C'mon do some research .. The treaty says not to militarize space. Trump said he's going to make another branch of the military in space. As soon as the US breaches that treaty, Russia can too. He's paving the way and laying the carpet for them. TO answer the headline question, "Where does T-rump's 'Space Force' fit into the international Rally Goose T Shirt?" - the same place mr. T-rump places ALL international agreements, "to be ignored in favor of filling some insider's pockets" . The T...rump just wants to spend as much as ray guns $7.2 trillion on star wars. Just different name space force. D. Eisenhower said "beware the military industrial complex" t jefferson said " avoid foreign entanglements". Off course it is, but does Trump care? No, he doesn't. It would be like building an air base in Antarctica. That would also be a treaty violation. Trump will be proposing that next. Not a new idea, the US has been considering this off and on since the 1950s. And not the first to do it, if it happens - Russia had a dedicated space force the USSR collapsed, but still maintains an "aerospace" force. China has a space force they call the Strategic Support Force. Heck, France has its "Joint Space Command."
I would imagine that such a Space Force would manage all the separate satellite Logic Rick And Morty Shirt being run now by the USAF, US Navy, US Army, NRO, etc. Would it also assume R&D and launch program management responsibilities? Just wow. The Russians have already weaponized LEO, but I don’t see anyone questioning their legal authority. Reading this post is like watching clowns argue by tooting funny horns at each other. This seems like a bad decision since a lot of interstellar theories use nuclear propulsion as the quickest means to get a possible manned mission beyond our solar system. It sounds like this may need a revision in the near future, however I can completely understand not wanting nuclear armaments near Earth's orbit.
